Join us in our next steps for Building a Local Food System:

• Bring your favorite recipe to share that utilizes fresh food from your garden or the local farmer’s market.

• Discuss new initiatives and momentum in the local food movement.

• Enjoy fresh, organically grown cooking herbs from NNC’s garden.

What we’ve been doing:
July – our first in a series of meetings, to be a community resource.
August – began collecting and distributing to the Ravenswood Community
Services food pantry/kitchen.
September – the first NNC workshop on canning fresh produce, and a fund raiser at Red Lion.
October – exceeded 500 lbs of neighbor fresh produce donated to the food pantry.
November – recipe sharing and next steps…
