Expressive Painting: Mixed Media Word Art

Each student will be guided through experimental and expressive painting techniques with a wide variety of tools, colors, textures, and mediums. We will find unexpected imagery and beauty as we create without self-judgment or preoccupation with the end result. Each student should bring photocopies of images and quotes that have a personal meaning: places, animals, maps, poems, etc. We will be altering the images and using them in mixed media collages, so please do bring copies rather than originals.

At this retreat you will:

Skill level: No experience needed
