Gateway to Learning Presents Dorothy's Can-Do Cafe

Gateway to Learning Special Education and Training Center is launching a new retail bakery and workforce training program at its Lincoln Ave. facility this spring, and we want our local friends to be the first to see what we CAN DO!

Starting Monday, April 15, Dorothy's Can-Do Cafe will be open to the public at 4925 N Lincoln Ave in Lincoln Square. The individuals with intellectual disabilities who are involved in our program will manage the cash register, fill customer orders, and learn how to provide great service to our fellow community members. Not to mention the delicious cookies they'll be offering! The baked goods at Dorothy's will be prepared by Gateway to Learning's members, and your purchase will help support our life-changing programs for individuals with special needs. 

Stop by to meet our cafe team, enjoy some tasty treats, and learn what Gateway to Learning is all about! We will look forward to seeing your friendly faces in April, and keep an eye out for our grand opening celebration in early May!
