Hello! Chicago Environmentalists is hosting a free event in your area that I thought you may be able to advertise or add to your event calendar. Thank you for your consideration! Sarah Horn Details of the event are below: Do you want to support pollinators and sustainable ecosystems, but aren't sure how to get started? Do you want to get rid of your lawn and replace it with native plants that will be lower maintenance and better for the environment? Do you lack a yard but still want to learn how to grow native plants in a container? If so, this is the FREE event for you! On April 9th at 6:30pm we will be featuring presentations from experts at Red Stem Native Landscapes and Vivant Gardening Services. You will learn the basics of how to select, start, and care for plants native to the area, whether you have a yard or only a container! The event will also have a community meet and greet portion where you can check in and buy any food/beverage you'd like from Bartleby's Ice Cream. Spots are limited, so register today!
