Kinderfasching - Children's Mardi Gras

The DANK Haus in historic Lincoln Square will present Kinderfasching, a winter celebration of the 5th season of the year - Carnival season! It's a great way to spend a snowy afternoon and let the kids have a ball.

Everyone is encouraged to come in costume - we'll have free face painting, a parade lead by the Prince & Princess, balloon artists, treats, performances by the Paloma band and the Amazonen Dance Corps. Make your own mask with all the glitter and feathers your heart desires.

Refreshments available, especially krapfen - a traditional sugar doughnut prepared on site by our Culture Kitchen. Krapfen are 2 for $1. Hotdogs also available.

You don't have to be German to enjoy this day of silliness!

The event is Saturday February 4, 2011 from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
Children 3 to 13 are $4. Guests 14 and over are $5.
