LSNN Earth Day Clean Up and Tree Count

In partnership with the city of Chicago, we will be provided with tools and garbage bags to clean our community between Lawrence and Foster Ave, Western and Francisco Avenue. The organization will provide hand sanitizer, gloves, and masks for all that need them.

During our cleaning event, we will be marking down where the Ash trees are. These trees are in danger and need our help! The Emerald Ash Borer bug is decimating the ash tree population, and it will likely succeed in killing all the ash trees in Chicago in the next three years if nothing is done. Help us locate all the Ash trees with the markers that are already on the tree to fundraise to save these trees!
