In Chicago, 1 in 6 people are considered food insecure, meaning they do not know when or where they will get their next meal.
The Friendship Center has successfully operated for over 40 years providing food to its neighbors in need.  Our two locations on the north side of Chicago serve the neighborhoods of North Park, Albany Park, Lincoln Square, and West Ridge.  Every month over 400 households receive food, clothing, and other valuable services.
With the support of individuals, businesses, foundations, and institutions The Friendship Center has been able to meet the needs of its food insecure neighbors.
