2011 International Chicago Tango Fest and Old Town School of Folk Music are pleased to announce our continued collaboration to bring you another Tango on the Town.

Tangata

The Old Town School of Folk Music in partnership with the American Tango Institute present Tangata to kick off the Tango on the Town Festival at Old Town School of Folk Music on August 24th - 28th.  This ensemble, led by Uruguayan violinist Victoria Moreira, combines talent of Argentina, Uruguay and the US, echoing the teeming port cities that gave birth to the music and dance of tango and will feature a guest bandoneonist.
