The Chopping Block Job Fair

If you have a passion and knowledge of food that you want to share with others, we want you to be a part of our team! Consider what it would be like to work at the busiest recreational cooking school in Chicago and make a difference in peoples’ lives every single day. Only people with positive attitudes, love for customers and a true passion for our mission to "Get this Country Cooking" need apply. Our team supports guiding people into the right cooking classes, setting them up with the recipes, instruction and kitchen equipment they need to get cooking as well as selecting the perfect wine to pair with dinner.  
 
If you think you have the experience (minimum of 4+ years of restaurant cooking for Chef Instructors) (Class Assistants & Retail concierges; preferred to have had worked previously in a retail positions and/or kitchen position that demonstrate great hospitality towards your peers and a love for food)  to drive our mission, we'd love to meet you. Join us on Friday August 4th from 11am-2pm at our Merchandise Mart location for an open job interview.
