Weiberfastnacht - Women's Karneval

Rheinischer Verein Prinzengarde invites you to Weiberfastnacht - new location this year - celebrate with us at the DANK Haus!

The event is the kickoff party for the German Karneval season and the women are in charge. Ladies will enjoy dancing to techno under the disco ball and generally being naughty girls while shirtless men in bow ties serve them.

Everyone is encouraged to come in costume ? men are especially encouraged to... don a dress and wig. Those men that dare to wear a tie will have it cut off by scissor wielding ladies but do not fret: tradition says a kiss is due as compensation.

Entertainment abounds from German band Paloma to gender bending skits to provokant stand-up and dancing all night to modern German and American pop and techno hits.

Refreshments available, especially krapfen - the traditional sugar doughnut of the Karneval season. Goulash, leberkäse sandwiches and cash bar available.

You don't have to be German to enjoy this night of debauchery!
