Will You Be Meinl?

On Friday, February 15th, 2013, the Julius Meinl coffeehouse at 4363 N. Lincoln Avenue will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a four-course dinner and piano concert by Austrian pianist, Christoph Traxler, sponsored in partnership with PianoForte Foundation (www.pianofortefoundation.org) and the Austrian Consulate General Chicago.
For info on Mr. Traxler, visit www.christophtraxler.com The program will be the 15 Variationen Es-Dur Op.35 “Eroica” and Sonate C-Dur Op.53 “Waldstein”. He will play on a Shigeru Kawai, model SK3. It is a 6 foot grand, hand crafted piano from PianoForte Foundation. The dinner menu will include salad, soup, schnitzel and dessert. Reservations are required. Call 773.868.1876 ext.5.
