John is the Sr. Director of Operations for Gateway to Learning starting August 2016. He is really excited to work with our neighbors and fellow businesses to advance the mission of Gateway. 

Claire is a Lincoln Square resident and co-founder of the David L. Hoyt Education Foundation. She love volunteering with Art Reach and hanging out with her dog Daisy in her spare time.

Dr. J. Luis Ramirez is a Chicago-born chiropractor focused on non-surgical orthopedics and injury rehab. A lifelong athlete, his passion for human movement began on the soccer field. Being exposed to injuries and manual healing led to a career helping others move and feel their best.
He studied Biology at Saint Joseph’s College, minoring in Health Science and Psychology, and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences. He’s also a Clinical Massage Therapist and instructor at The Soma Institute.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys life with his wife Ana and son Lorenzo, plays soccer, volleyball, and is exited to start running long distances, so far he's completed one Marathon. His mission: to help his community stay healthy, active, and empowered.
