Billionaire Family Behind Walmart Buys Lillstreet Art Center

RAVENSWOOD — Samantha Walton, a philanthropist whose family is behind the Walmart empire, is the new owner of Ravenswood’s Lillstreet Art Center.

Samantha Walton bought the art center, 4401 N. Ravenswood Ave., at the end of September, according to a spokesperson with The Silverman Group, which does public relations for Lillstreet. Walton has been coming to Lillstreet since 2013 and has been a partial owner of the creative workspace and arts hub since 2021, the spokesperson said. Read More Here.
