The owner’s father learned how to cook at Ann Sather and is bringing that expertise to his daughter’s new restaurant.
LINCOLN SQUARE — The 21-year-old daughter of Mexican immigrants is pursuing her parent’s dream of owning a business by opening a new brunch spot in Lincoln Square.
Owner Samantha Estrada opened Las Maria’s Breakfast Club, 5501 N. Lincoln Ave., in early March with a menu serving a variety of crepes, pancakes, omelettes and other breakfast staples. The new restaurant is open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and its grand opening is scheduled for Saturday.
“The menu is mainly American breakfast foods, but we also have a few Mexican dishes, like chilaquiles with sauce from my mom’s recipe from how we do it at home,” Estrada said. Read more HERE
