LINCOLN SQUARE — Construction around the Western Avenue Brown Line stop and adjacent plaza will force the Lincoln Square Farmers Market to move south when it opens this year.
The Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce’s popular farmers market typically runs on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings from May to November along West Leland Avenue, between North Lincoln and North Western avenues.
Due to construction this year to upgrade the Western Avenue Brown Line stop and its plaza, this year’s market will move a few blocks south to the public parking lot at 4513 N. Lincoln Ave., said chamber business engagement manager Jeff Tabels.
“The much-anticipated CTA station area redesign is set to kick off this year, bringing lots of necessary upgrades to the area, including a redesigned parking lot that will enhance the customer experience at the Lincoln Square Farmers Market for years to come,” Tabels said. Read more HERE
