Lincoln Square-Set Rom-Com ‘Christmas In Chicago’ To Host Local Screenings, Scavenger Hunt

LINCOLN SQUARE — Last December, Lincoln Square residents were thrilled to view “Christmas in Chicago,” a romantic holiday movie with one major difference from most Hallmark-esque productions: It was shot in an actual city — Chicago.

Instead of the heroine (Jennifer Freeman) fleeing the big city to reconnect with her high school boyfriend at her small hometown’s Christmas tree lot, in “Christmas in Chicago,” she falls for the local alderman (Michael Copon) as she tries to save her neighborhood, Garrett Park (played by Lincoln Square), using an ornament scavenger hunt as a fun marketing scheme.
