More than 40 restaurants, cafes and bars will offer prix-fixe menus during the dining event March 1-15.
LINCOLN SQUARE — Restaurants in six North Side neighborhoods are launching their own version of Chicago Restaurant Week in March.
North Side Restaurant Week is March 1-15 and will feature more than 40 restaurants, cafes, wine bars and cocktail lounges in Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, Andersonville, Edgewater, North Center, Rogers Park and Uptown.
Participating businesses — including Lincoln Square’s Luella’s Southern Kitchen, Il Milanese and The Green Post — will offer special prix-fixe menus showcasing their culinary offerings.
With so many restaurants participating, diners will be able to try a variety of cuisines, including French, Italian, Thai, Mexican, Indian and American comfort food.
For example, Edgewater’s The Little India will offer a lamb dish served with keema samosa or house salad, rogan josh or lamb vindaloo, lamb saag, basmati rice, plain naan or onion naan and, for dessert, rice pudding or gulab jamun.
