Proposed Fit City Kids at 5820 N. Milwaukee gets big thumbs up from residents

The former Produce Center/Guitar Center, 5820 N. Milwaukee Ave., would be replaced by an approximately 55-foot-tall Fit City Kids recreational facility under a proposal that was well received at a Nov. 3 community meeting hosted by Alderman James Gardiner (45th).

The facility would offer sports and fitness training, summer camps, tumbling classes, private kids’ parties, and free community events and include an indoor playground and basketball/sports courts.
