Businesses will begin to set-up at noon each Thursday and be in full swing during our Thursday evening Farmers' Market and Free Summer Concert Series! DON'T MISS OUT!
The annual Summer Concert Series, Lincoln Square's favorite free summer event, begins on June 16th! The series will occur every Thursday evening from 6:30pm - 9:00pm in Giddings Plaza through September 1st. Be sure to tell your entire famlily and all of your friends! No one is going to want to miss out on this great, fun event!
The opening of the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce Thursday evening Farmers' Market begins on June 16th, bringing the Lincoln Square community together around the goodness of fresh fruits, vegetables, and homemade baked goods.
The Market will be held every Thursday evening from June 16th to October 27th between the hours of 4pm to 8pm. Vendors will be set-up at the City of Chicago municipal parking lot located at the Western CTA Brown Line Station. Be sure to stop by and check out one of our 17 local farmers and vendors!
Come out and enjoy Lincoln Square's newest summer event, "Pairings in the Plaza." On Saturday, July 16th the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce Square Kegs Home Brew Club will host an afternoon of food and craft beer pairings under the open sky in Giddings Plaza. From 2pm tp 6pm several of Lincoln Square's finest restaurants and local breweries will provide samplings of delectable cuisine paired with the best brews in town.
This intimate festival will give beer lovers and foodies a chance to learn about the art of pairing the right beer and food together. Chefs and brewers will be on hand to discuss their selections for the event and how each element of the pairing enhances the other.

Join the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce Sustainability Committee's celebration of food & film, farmers & chefs at the DANK Haus! In a partnership with Jim Javenkoski's Local Food Wisdom we will be presenting the screening of the documentary Ingredients, a film illustrating how people around the country are working to revitalize the connection between local food, the local community, and our health. Ingredients is a journey that reveals the people behind the movement to bring food back to the table and health back to our communities.
During the film our guests will enjoy a family-friendly, seasonal meal featuring foods prepared by businesses in our neighborhood (City Provisions, The Grafton Pub, and Provenance Food and Wine). Following the food and film Jim Javenkoski will moderate a brief Q&A session with a panel of special guests who will offer their insights and perspectives on Chicago's burgeoning local food system. Attendees will have an opportunity to purchase the Ingredients DVD for $20.
